About Us
Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Harugeri was established in the year of 2008-09 by Dr. Laxman S Jambagi, Sole trustee of Shri S.S.Jambagi Memorial Education & Charitable Trust, which is a non-profitable and non minority institution. The College is functioning at its permanent building at Gokak Athani Main Road Harugeri campus of 14.08 acres. The college buildings are architecturally designed and built as per the CCIM and CCH norm.
Imbedded with the message of Shri Vrusabendra, he ventured into the realm of providing Quality Education to rural students from India and other neighbouring countries. He has to his credit various other enterprises such as real estate, industry and various educational institutions. The Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural PG M.Ed College at Harugeri, was established in 2010-11 Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural College of Education (B.Ed) at Harugeri was established in 2004-05 and Siddhivinayaka Rural T.T.I D.Ed) at Harugeri, was established in 2006-07 He was also instrumental in starting “The Academy for the Blind” and “Home for the Aged”under the community service programmes of the Lions Club.
Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural Ayurvedic Medical College is developing into a reputed Medical Institution, imparting top QUALITY MEDICAL EDUCATION and preparing the young generation of student with SPIRIT OF SERVICE TO SOCIETY. The colleges are affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore. and approved by the CCIM / Ayush for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi.

Facilities
Central Library & Departmental Library
A Library is the lifeblood of an academic institution. Our institution encourages all staff members to make best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. The library is housed in a spacious area of 2500 sq ft. with reference section, magazine section and stack area. Presently it stacks more than 6000 books and reference volumes for lending to faculty and students. The library subscribes to more than 25 specialized journals, over one third of them being international. Constant addition of titles and volumes in all fields of medicine a regular feature of the library. Every effort has been made to obtain all titles recommended by the faculty. Newspapers, weekly and fortnightly magazines of repute are subscribed to enable students to keep abreast day-to-day trends. The books authored by the faculty of our college are kept in the library for benefit of the students.

Transportation
The college is easily accessible from Miraj, Raibag, Kudachi Belgaum Railway Station by the state operated transport buses. In addition the college owns a fleet of 01 buses and these buses operate in more than 10 different routes starting from different points in Harugeri. Our booming transport facilities ensure that our students and staff members are able to attend the college on time.

Eligibility for admission:
Eligibility for admission:1.Students must have passed the 2nd year P.U.C Examination of the P.U.C education Board Bangalore or any other examination recognized as equivalent therein with English is one of languages and Physics, chemistry and Biology as optional subject with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects(Physics, Chemistry & Biology) of the second year P.U.C examination only are eligible for admission to B.A.M.S. course preference will be given to candidates knowing Sanskrit.2. The candidates who have passed the B.Sc part 1 degree examination of any University or equivalent examination recognized by statutory Universities of Boards with science subjects namely physics, chemistry, Biology or Botany &Zoology &secures not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate are eligible for admission to 1st B.A.M.S Course provided the candidates has passed the P.U.C examination with Physics, chemistry, Biology and English as one of the languages.3. However in the case of students belonging to SC/ST (only for Karnataka students)cat-I,IIA,IIB,IIIA &IIIB the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for admission to B.A.M.S.course is 40% of aggregate marks in PCB subjects.4.
