Ayurveda literally means ‘sciences of life’, has originated from Vedic sciences. It is the oldest system of medicine in the world. Its dimensions are not limited up to the body but are extended up to the level of mind and soul.Ayurveda inspires one to lead a healthy life not only physically but also mentally, socially and spiritually by maintaining a good balance between body, mind and soul.There are various diseases like Rheumatism, Sinus Problem, Recurrent throat infections, Asthama, Recurrent UTI, Eczema, Psoriasis and certain gastric problems etc. for which allopathic medicines do not give desirable results and can only help temporarily. The medicines used by Ayurveda has curative remedies for most of these problems. The role of Ayurveda in curing chronic problems is incomparable.In the present era due to lot of stress, faulty life style and wrong dietary habits the sickness levels have increased tremendously – almost everyone is dependent on some kind of medicines. These medicines also tend to have a lot of side effects, which worsens the conditions further.Ayurveda always aims at keeping a physiological equilibrium between all the components of an individual by means of diet, deeds and medicines. The purification therapy includes various procedures collectively known as Panchkarma. Every single procedure also has its own merits in maintaining health & in rejuvenation – viz. Abhyang, Shirodhara, Nasya etc.
